Privacy policy

What this site collects, why, who else sees it, and how to make us change or delete it. The short version: your answers help Ivan decide whether he can help you, and they never go to Meta or any other advertiser.
Who we are
This site and the coaching it describes are run by Ivan Delač (“we”). We decide what happens to your data, which makes us its controller under the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Write to ivan@ivandelac.com about anything on this page.
What we collect
When you visit
- Your IP address and browser details, which every website receives, and the country they point to.
- Where you came from: the ad’s tracking codes (UTM tags, ad and campaign ids, Meta’s click id), the page you landed on and the site that sent you. Outside the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland we keep these in a cookie for 90 days.
- How fast each page loaded and responded. No cookie, no IP address, nothing that identifies you.
- If you allow it, Meta’s cookies (see “Meta” below).
When you apply
- Your name and email.
- Your answers: your goal, your work, how you’ve trained before, how often you’ve started over, what gets in the way, any notes, your age range and whether you can invest in coaching now.
- When you gave each consent, and whether you asked for Ivan’s weekly email.
We save your answers as you go, from the second step, so you can finish later.
When you book
- The time you picked, your time zone and, if you give it, your mobile number for text reminders. Giving the number is how you agree to the texts.
- Your answer to the prep question on the confirmation page, if you write one.
Why, and on what legal basis
- To assess your application and hold the Audit call. These are steps you ask for before any contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). Answers that can say something about your health need your explicit consent, which you give at step 2 (Article 9(2)(a)); see the consumer health data notice.
- To email you about your application: the confirmation, the guide if coaching isn’t a fit yet, one reminder if you stop halfway, and a new link if you miss the call. This is part of what you asked for, or our legitimate interest in finishing it (Article 6(1)(f)). There is never more than one reminder.
- Ivan’s weekly email: only if you ticked the box (Article 6(1)(a)). Unsubscribe any time.
- To see which ads work (Meta’s Pixel and Conversions API): with your consent in the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland (Article 6(1)(a)); elsewhere, our legitimate interest in measuring our advertising (Article 6(1)(f)), which you can stop at any time under “Your privacy choices”.
- To keep out spam and keep the site fast and secure: our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)).
Your answers and Meta
Your application answers are never sent to Meta, or to any other advertiser, and are never used to target ads. When you start or send an application, or book, and only with your consent where it’s required, we tell Meta that a visitor from one of our ads did so. That message contains your email, phone, first and last name, country and an id we make from your application, each scrambled (hashed) before it leaves us, plus your IP address, browser and Meta’s own cookies. Meta uses it to measure and improve our ads.
For what the Pixel collects in your browser, Meta Platforms Ireland and we are joint controllers. Meta’s part is explained in its privacy policy.
Cookies
- ivn_region: which region you’re in, to decide whether to ask before measuring. 90 days.
- ivn_consent: your answer to the cookie question. 1 year.
- ivn_attr: the ad that brought you here, saved with your application. 90 days. Not set in the EU, EEA, UK or Switzerland.
- _fbc and _fbp: Meta’s click and browser ids. 90 days. In the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland only after you allow them.
Your browser also keeps your place in the application for the length of the visit (session storage), so a refresh doesn’t lose your answers.
Your privacy choices
Choose whether this browser may measure our ads with Meta. In the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland, nothing from Meta loads until you say yes. Elsewhere, saying no (or sending a Global Privacy Control signal) switches Meta to Limited Data Use: Meta then handles your visit only as our service provider, not for its own purposes. We don’t sell personal information.
Who else handles your data
These companies process data for us, under contract, only to run this site and the coaching:
- Netlify: hosting, and storage of applications in Frankfurt, Germany.
- Resend: the emails this site sends, including the summary of each application to Ivan and Erik.
- Cal.com: the booking calendar and its reminders.
- Cloudflare: Turnstile, the spam check at the last step of the application.
- Mux: the sales video.
- Aurelius: the agency that runs this site, the application process and our ads.
- Meta: ad measurement, as described above.
Outside the EU
Some of these companies are based in the United States. Where data goes there, the transfer relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework if the company is certified under it, or otherwise on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Applications you didn’t finish, and applications that weren’t a fit: deleted automatically after 12 months.
- Every other application, including those that led to a call: deleted automatically 24 months after you applied.
- The application summaries this site emails to Ivan and Erik: deleted from their inboxes on the same schedule as the application.
- If you become a client: your coaching records for as long as we coach you and 3 years after, and invoices for 11 years, as Croatian accounting law requires.
- Cookies: as listed above.
How the application decides
Two answers decide what you see after the last step: whether you’ve trained before, and whether you can invest in coaching now. If both fit, you get the calendar; if not, you get the free guide. If you think that’s wrong, reply to any email from us and Ivan will look at your application himself.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected or deleted, limit or object to how we use it, and take it with you. You can withdraw a consent at any time; that doesn’t undo what was done before. Write toivan@ivandelac.com; we reply within one month.
You can also complain to the Croatian data protection authority, AZOP (Agencija za zaštitu osobnih podataka, Selska cesta 136, 10000 Zagreb, azop.hr), or to the authority where you live.
Age
The coaching and this site are for adults. Please don’t apply if you’re under 18.
